| was established in 2002 by Dorothee Guther and David G. Saik in Berlin, Germany. By maintaining a small staff and limiting the number of active commissions, the multi-disciplinary studio provides sustained personal attention to custom projects of the highest quality for unique and demanding clients. Prior to founding G&S Dorothee Guther worked as a designer for print and on/offline media both independently and in collaboration with numerous offices in Germany. She maintains an ongoing relationship to the University of Art (UdK) as assistant professor of design in the departments of Industrial Design and Costume Design. Prior to founding G&S David G. Saik worked as an architect and designer for; Herzog & DeMeuron, Basel (The New DeYoung Museum, San Francisco); David Chipperfield Architects, London/Berlin (Dolce & Gabbana, Milan, Neues Museum, Berlin, Bryant Park Hotel, New York); Gluckman Mayner Architects, New York (The Georgia O’Keefe Museum, Santa Fe, Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin, Gianni Versace, Miami). David G. Saik is a registered Architect (Architektenkammer Berlin). |
